First day of ALTAROMA 2022 Francesca Cottone strive the fashion scene with her collection “GUILTY – PLEASURE”
Francesca Cottone was born in Camerino in 1991. After her studies she decided to move to a big city. She chooses Milan where she attends the three-year course in Fashion Design at the Istituto Marangoni. After graduating in 2015, she wins a competition to create a capsule collection for the protagonists of the Renault car manufacturer’s “Clio Duel” commercial. The following years saw her busy growing professionally by working in the style offices of major fashion brands.
In 2018, however, she feels the desire to “go home” to create her own brand. She chooses Matelica (MC) where she opens an office and a store, supporting it with the development of the e-commerce site. Her goal is to grow the brand by bringing this international working reality to geographically smaller ones as well. The garments of the collections are innovative and structured, and in them coexist textile and color contrasts characterized by a clean design and a careful study of tailoring details.
The meticulous study of the outerwear, in the various declinations, is one of the main strengths of the collections.
Thanks to the total internal company management of the development and packaging of the collections, each garment of the brand can be tailored to the customer, guaranteeing a 100% Made in Italy design. In recent years you have participated in various editions of Altaroma and have had the opportunity to show your clothes to customers and international buyers also on the occasion of the showcases connected to the event.
On the occasion of the next edition of Alta Roma Francesca Cottone will parade on February 2 at 19:00 in Cinecittà where she will present “GUILTY PLEASURE” the new autumn-winter 2022/2023 collection, inspired by the feeling of a forbidden, intimate and cheeky pleasure typical of contrasts of neonoir films.
The juxtaposition of the two English terms “Guilty” and “Pleasure” creates a dimension where the character of seduction is expressed with a captivating personality, split into two worlds: one more ethereal and one more irreverent. Through contrasting textures and patterns, a sensual and extremely confident will is expressed that explodes at the call of the sharp evening lights.

There are clear references to the world of divas and stars of the past: from the pinstripe suit inspired by Grace Kelly’s elegance with tone-on-tone sequin details, to the avant-garde of the Gilda bomber jacket with an oversized line in soft eco-fur.
The Marlon double-breasted coat and the Bradley bedroom blazer, thanks to their structured silhouettes, tailored details and soft lines, are characterized by a careful modeling study.
