The event was organized in collaboration with the Embassies of France and Germany to celebrate the cooperation treaty between the three countries and also hosted a representation of the cities of Bielsko-Biala in Poland and Tursi in Basilicata which inspired the Pavluchenko’s art.
Black and white, in the game of contrasts of the collection proposed by the designer, are the interpretative key that reveals the link between the two cities and the chromatic dualism between light and shadow, a necessary condition for human existence.
The montage of the video that accompanied the catwalk was spectacular: an intimate and literary story that captured the attention of the spectators. The two cities, the native Bielsko-Biala in Poland and the beloved Tursi in Italy were the source of inspiration and suggestion for Pavluchenko who represented respectively in the whiteness of white and the carnality of black.
And it is a magical, mystical and primitive black that represented in the first catwalk that embodies the primordial soul of Tursi with the energy of its stones and the mysticism of the Virgin of Anglona, embellished with precious Byzantine details.
