THE FÉDÉRATION DE LA HAUTE COUTURE ET DE LA MODE AND TRANOÏ SIGN AN EXCLUSIVE PARTNERSHIP TO PROMOTE DESIGN AND REINFORCE PARIS AS THE WORLD FASHION CAPITAL

TRANOI
TRANOI
Tranoï, a new subsidiary of GL events Exhibition’s Fashion Division along with Première Vision, is now the Paris Fashion Week® trade show partner.

The goal of this unique partnership is to reinforce Paris’ role as the world’s fashion capital by developing synergies to support French and international design through its development and influence.

The collaboration is built on three principal axes:
affiliation, promotion and digitalisation

A NEW EVENT DEDICATED TO EMERGING DESIGNERS AT THE PALAIS DE TOKYO

Four times a year, this new format will bring together a selection of emerging designers curated by Tranoï and Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) teams.

Designers who wish to participate must demonstrate a strong, original creative process, and those chosen will benefit from the show’s presentation services and its tools for connecting with leading buyers in French and international multibrand networks.

This new event will federate and reinforce the program of Paris Fashion Week® (PFW®).
A centralised welcome area in the Palais will allow professionals and the general public to easily move from the PFW® Showroom – Sphere to Tranoï. Visitors will also have access to the PFW® Center, an information and hospitality area, and be able to attend the fashion shows held in the Palais’ exhibition space.

For PFW®’s Womenswear, complementary shuttles will be available to take visitors to events at the Palais de Tokyo and the Tranoï trade show at the Palais Brongniart.

Tranoï joins Première Vision (an FHCM partner since 2018) and brings its expertise not only to help designers but also to increase Fashion Week’s visibility with an international public.
A mutual communication will promote this new event.
NEXT DATE : JUNE 25-27, 2021
DIGITAL SYNERGY TO DISCOVER DESIGNERS, CONNECT PROFESSIONALS AND SELL COLLECTIONS

The use of virtual tools by these two major industry players is well known. PFW® Online has been a success since the beginning of the pandemic, and the FHCM has collaborated with Le New Black and Grand Shooting since July 2020 for its PFW® showroom, Sphere. In addition, the Tranoï Link platform, powered by Alkeon, has connected brands and buyers since September 2020, the first edition of the Tranoï Link Presentations online project was launched  in March 2021.

These numerous initiatives will be fine-tuned in the weeks to come to give e-visitors an exceptional experience of discovery on the web.
Pascal Morand, Executive President, the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode: This partnership illustrates the strengthening of ties between the different members of our ecosystem in order to assure Paris’ role as the world’s fashion capital. We’re very pleased to consolidate our relationship with Première Vision through this global perspective on creative fashion. With this project, together we’re supporting the business growth of creative brands on a larger scale. We’ve chosen the Palais de Tokyo, an iconic venue for contemporary art, to best present this unique, innovative partnership.”
Philippe Pasquet, CEO – GL events Exhibitions: “I am delighted that Tranoï has now joined the Première Vision and FHCM partnership which began three years ago. As soon as we took over this wonderful brand in the summer of 2020, we felt that new, more mature and pro-market relationships should be established between the designer trade shows and their corresponding Fashion Weeks. I’d like to thank the FHCM for having been so open to this vision. This alliance represents an important cornerstone in underlining Paris’ attractiveness for major fashion events.”

Boris Provost, Managing Director – Tranoï: “This partnership is a wonderful opportunity for international designers and the entire sector. The complementary expertise of Tranoï and the FHCM lets us present a new way of looking at fashion, one that’s unique, coherent and powerful. Additionally, this combined effort strengthens Paris’ leadership position as the fashion capital. I’d also like to extend my warmest thanks to my teams and to those at Première Vision, GL events Exhibitions and the FHCM for their enthusiasm and amazing commitment. This ambitious vision of fashion has brought us all together.”
